Don't waste your money
I wanted to add a pencil sharpener to my home office because I use pencils all day long with figures. This is the biggest P.O.S. -- you'd think with the Bostitch name it would have been reliable, but it's one of those sharpeners that only sharpens 2/3rds of the way around so you're left with a big slice of wood going all the way down to the point on one side of the pen...

No strength
I don't trust this sharpener. Didn't have a strong fit and the sharpening was shaky. I wanted to return it but there wasn't the option on the Quill website

It sharpens well
I gave this to my daughter because she draws a lot. It’s definitely durable and sharpens the pencil very well. It’s not too noisy when it sharpens the pencil.

Gifted to someone!
I personally love this type of brand for any teacher or a person who used pencils alot!! i rarely use pencil im a pen kind of girl but i gifted this to a teacher friend of mine and she was extremely happy!!

Kept kids entertained for more than 5 minutes
We have nieces and nephews stop by almost every week so we have to keep them entertained. Who knew an electric sharpener would do?! They kept wanting to sharpen their pencils and coloring pencils...kept them busy and interested and actually using sharp pencils! Works really well, hoping it lasts long!

nice!
i knew this would come in handy for my nephew whose in school! you know they go through so many pencils. this is a quick and easy pencil sharpener. id deff recommend this for anyone with school aged kids

Fast and clean!
The Bostitch sharpener is very fast at sharpening each pencil, and cleanup is a breeze with it's little bin container at the bottom! As an artist with many expensive color pencils, it's always frustrating when the lead breaks off from a poor sharpener. It's money being thrown away. Home office necessity!
Working from home means I need top quality products to get me through busy work days and this is one of them! I love this sharpener because it has a stall free motor and prevents over-sharpening and damaging pencils.

Got Stuck
Makes a great point without taking too much excess pencil material. However, with colored pencils, sharpener broke the lead and it got stuck in blades. Cleaned it some and it runs fine now. A little loud for its size.
