I purchased this desk at $307 on May 30 2014 - received it on June 3. Today 6/21 I found it on Staples site at $219.98 a $87.01 difference. I also ordered the hutch for $179 - it is now on sale for $140 - total savings of $125.02 - when I called Staples - to inquire about the difference I was told - too bad - you missed it by 7 days. Okay Desk
Many parts and pieces. The large drawer is missing the slides that's why it is sitting lower. Contacted the Mfg. It's been over a week and haven't heard anything on when they will send some.

Was surprised at how many pieces it came in and will need to devote a lot of time to put it together or have someone else do it. Despite that quality of the material is good and more sturdy than some desks.

Suits our needs
This desk works well for the limited space we had but where we needed a larger work surface. My husband has done a lot of assembly of this sort so putting it together was fairly straightforward but to get the door to fit properly took quite a bit of fiddling until he was satisfied with it.

An Assembly Nightmare
Overall I'm happy with the desk. One flaw -- the keyboard and mouse do not fit on the keyboard tray. Getting used to the mouse on the top of the desk is not a game changer. Not a good choice
The keyboard shelf is too narrow to include both a mouse and a keyboard which leads to an ergonomically incorrect posture. The depth of the desk is too shallow to permit use of the top of the desk and a monitor. I am dissatisfied.

Very good desk
Overall very happy. A few minor issues such as the drawer not rolling well. Considering the pandemic and lack of desks available this definitely works for what I was looking for - not huge but has room to have books/references in the space and still have a desk to be able to work.

Wasn't for me
The desk was fine but not for me. It has plenty of storage room but it eats away from the leg room. Nice color but its all compressed wood chips. The feed through hole for cables was close to the center of the desk which take away desk space. I have a docking station and three monitors and it just didn't work. There was plenty of desk space on the other side of the desk...

Love it
Love this desk because I can study comfortably and have a usable space for my desktop both in the same space! No more books piling up in other areas of the house!

Really nice looking and functional product but directions could have been more clear (screws not clearly marked etc). One corner of desk also damaged prior to arrival which is disappointing for an expensive desk

Very pleased.
The desk and filing cabinet fit perfectly where i wanted them. They seem to be sturdy. My only complaint is that in the filing cabinet they did not provide 2 folder hangers and I would have liked 2per drawer because I do not have any legal size documents.

Not machined fully...
This desk can be built in two different layouts; one with the keyboard part on the left side and one with it on the right side. Instructions include directions for both orientations and are very easy to follow. That is until the parts are not machined properly... For some odd reason the desktops only had the pre-drilled holes for one orientation instead of both like...

They look great!!!
I bought two of these and had someone else put them together and I am glad I did. They are beautiful but they are heavy. I would not want to have to try to move them from where they are now. They are very sturdy and if anyone was looking for a quality desk I would highly recommend these.
