Works flawlessly
This is perfect to connect a MacBook or other computer to an ethernet cable. I needed it at home for faster data transfer where the wi-fi is slow, and that also occurs in hotel rooms. Just plug it in and go - no app needs to be installed. Typical excellent Apple quality and ease of use.

Great design, but needs power cord!
Looks great, well build with beautiful design, but I haven’t been able to use it in the last week or so sine i need to buy a separate power cord! Put it as part of the product and we’ll pay the added costs. It should stand alone - but no, need to buy a plug and cord.

does what it is meant to
I can turn off my wifi and now I have uninterrupted internet. If you have a stationary place where work can be performed, consider opting for an ethernet cord so that you can experience your internet service as you are meant to. Excellent customer service
One thing that makes stores stand out is customer service. Apple products are Apple products, but being able to buy with a pleasant experience is on the individual store.

A bit pricey, but a critical tool for recovery
I bought this to speed up the download process from my backup drive to my new computer. I had been using wifi, and this direct cable really speeded things up.

Quick easy plug and play
Data connectivity is fast almost gigabit rate speed for Cat 5 cable network connection. Great buy! Cheaper than Apple store for this product!
