Anti Glare Screen
Works very well for privacy and for eye protection. If you are standing beside it it is hard for someone to see your screen. I bought it for the purpose of my eyes. The screen protection was an added benefit.

Doesn't work unless you're at a sharp angle
I tried this both sides. If you're standing to one side or the other it does obscure the screen but if you're standing directly in front of the monitor even if you're 8 ft away you can still see the monitor very clearly. The idea was that someone should not be able to stand behind me and see my screen. This doesn't work for that at all. Plus it arrived damaged. I'...

Works well
Besides being a privacy filter it also works as a screen protector and the matte works as an anti-glare. Easy to install and fits perfectly.

Exactly as described
Items were delivered quickly and by Staples own delivery team. The privacy screens do have both a shiny side and matte side to them they also come with both the tabs to slide the screen into if your computer has a set back screen and clear double sided adhesive strips which you don’t see unless directly looking at them or for them. Smaller then I wanted with " for 27" widescreen " thought it would work but is really only about 24" wide:(

Barely works
It's not completely private. If someone is standing behind you they can still see everything. The side view is a bit more private and blacked out. Not happy with the quality especially for that price. I don't get why this thing costs so much and does so little.

3Mâ„¢ Black Privacy Filter for 18.5" Widescreen Monitor
They work great. Would love it if they were just a few cm's bigger. The notch is noticeable and doesn't go beyond the screen into the black area. It's a little distracting only because I keep wanting to move it but if I do the entire opposite side shows.

Such a difference!
I love this filter and the fact that not only does it protect screen privacy but also filters out the light that adds to eye strain. This new filter was installed in addition to new lighting in my office (the filter came first) and my eyes are SO much happier!!

Nice product
I really like the overall filter; keeps others from seeing my work but I wish the 2 sided tape would hold up. It is constantly coming "unstuck".

Seems OK not great
I ordered the wrong size so it didn't fit. But it still seems slightly shiny. Not as matte as I had hoped.

Works well
I like it. I had to cut it down to size. Could have sworn I had the right size but no matter. Be careful if you cut it down has to be done in a certain way so the whole thing doesn't split. Does the job protects your view when you have coworkers coming in and out all the time and some of the information you are viewing is confidential. Can't see it from the sides...

Works well if you install it correctly.
The privacy filter has both a glare and non-glare slide so if you want a "non-glare" you have to look before you install it that the non-glare side is facing out (towards you). You should clean the screen that is going to be mounted to don't want to tap any dust in between the two layers and also the adhesive strips will hold better. I have found that the double side...

flimsy for the price
The screen itself works great. However the double-sided tape strips provided are a flimsy and cheap means of attaching it to your monitor. Does not come with extra tape so if you decide to use the other side (one is darker and harder to see) like we did it's almost impossible to reuse the tape it comes with. I ended up using clear shipping tape.
