Arches is the best paper for watercolors
Arches is the best paper for watercolors. Some say buy cheaper paper for practice if you're just beginning. But the cheaper paper that I've tried (and I haven't tried them all) doesn't react to the paint in the same way. For me, it's worth the extra cost. Someone suggested using both sides for practicing.

Arches is the best paper for watercolors
Arches is the best paper for watercolors. Some say buy cheaper paper for practice if you're just beginning. But the cheaper paper that I've tried (and I haven't tried them all) doesn't react to the paint in the same way. For me, it's worth the extra cost. Someone suggested using both sides for practicing.
