An evaporative cooler, not an air conditioner
As long as you realize what this is, you will be pleased with it. It is not an air conditioner—It is an evaporative cooler. You put cold water in it and it blows air over the water and gives a cool breeze. I got it to cool off my exercise room while I am in there exercising. For this it works wonderfully. I keep the whole house at about 76, which is really too warm for...

Overpriced Fan
I used this Swamp Cooler in a 200 sq ft room on a 97*f day. with bedroom doors closed.
I put the ice packets in water draw; that made no difference.
My ceiling Fan offers more relief than this fan.
I returned this product.

Now I'm a Believer :-)
I have a little art studio out in the back yard. I live in Oregon so it isn't hot often enough to put in AC but it gets hot in the summer. Previously, I couldn't work out there if the temperature was above 80. A couple days ago, I was out painting with the Luma on (I have it positioned such that I'm directly in line with it). I didn't notice it being hot. I was sur...

Portable Evaporative Cooler
It is not an AC unit but it can provide comfort in a room and it is very portable and easy to run. It is working well in our solarium

Does not cool off 250 sf in my home. Feels very nice if sitting close. I find the water level indicator hard to read. Big improvement over my box fan.

Not So Cool
I bought this last fall, but did not review it until now, since I hadn't used it until now. It is a very nice unit. Well made with nice features. I bought this because I remembered when I was a child my Dad had a very small battery operated fan that had a tray on the bottom where you put water. It was called an air conditioner. It worked pretty well, in that it seemed t...

Works Great!
We have our exercise equipment in the garage and we get the setting sun. Temps are well over 100. Have this cooler directly on us has made a big difference!
