Uses Standard size staples!
Slight pressure to snap papers together... Easy to reload. The bottom slides open with slight effort which is good so it doesn't open accidentally. I love that it takes standard size staples 1/4" (6mm). Same as my desk top stapler. And yes it can handle up to 12 sheets of regular paper. It's a champ! I don't even recall how old it is and it's like new. Doesn't break or ...

Overall the stapler works great. I wish it held more staples. Opening the back for the staples was a little challenging at first but I was finally able to get it opened.

I find this reduced effort stapler so much easier to use than tradational staplers. Specifically when working with mutiple projects. I also like the size of the stapler.

Handy, but Hard to Load
I bought this when I needed stapled meeting packets (which I had copied, self-service) very quickly. When I opened the package, I could not figure out how to load the staples. The illustration imprinted on the black plastic bottom of the stapler was unclear and not helpful. A larger, clearer illustration on an insert or the cardboard package backing would have been bet...

Effort Not So Reduced
In fact I found it very difficult to work. Had to take it back to the store for help. They got it to work for me, but to open it and especially to close it once you put staples in it is really difficult. It’s workable, but a little truth in advertising please. Would not recommend.
