It's OEM quality - and now OEM price!
The key word is 'original'! The trouble is that now it's getting more difficult - and more expensive - to find and purchase OEM cartridges. Compatible ones are far cheaper - and far worse in output quality. If HP want to encourage me to replace my Samsung with a HP equivalent machine it would become more cost-effective.

Wrong cartridge on website
I own a Samsung Xpress mx2843 laser printer and the hp website had this cartridge as the original replacement. The cartridge is not for the printer specified and had to be returned.

Toner VG Chip NG
Toner works well in my Samsung M2885 BUT printer continually flashes and tells me to change toner. I have tried all online suggestions. I now have to run Samsung Easy Printer Manger to check ink levels. Minor annoyance.

Haven't used it yet; assume OEM HP works
Trying to deal with HP over the internet and phone was nightmare; it's incredible HP is still in business. No problems dealing with Staples over internet and pick up. Keep stocking this specific cartridge.
