After researching different disc manufacture products for quality and longevity, Verbatim discs are a great choice for both aspects without going completely overboard and are within reach. Unlike the cheaper HP and Staples brand discs, the film will not disintegrate nearly as fast.

Verbatim used to sell the product in 50 CD spindle so had to buy 2 to get the 50 that I needed.
