We have several in our offices. It holds a laptop and takes up a small amount of floor space.

Good idea, poor assembly/mechanics
Now that it's built, the desk works well in a single position. However, it had no holes in the desk boards, and the wood screws would not go in without a drill. Secondly, the way the desk adjusts height is cumbersome. The support poles have very close contacts, and once the screws are loosened, force must be exerted to work the desk up or down to the desired new height....
