New Fiskars 12" Paper Cutter
The new model can't hold a candle to the older model. It doesn't cut as smoothly and hangs up at the edge. I use it for work and am not happy with it.

The blade is a tiny triangle sticking out of the plastic guider. It did not cut very cleanly and felt like there was a lot of resistance. I ended up returning it. Save your money and get a paper cutter with a rotary blade.

Excellent Paper Trimmer
I was looking for a paper trimmer to cut CD Case Inserts for a CD I recorded and had printed on card stock. This paper trimmer did an excellent job of cutting the card stock in and in straight lines.

Compact and easy to use

Works well. Additional replacement blades are expensive. Why do you have to buy the blades pre-mounted in the carrier? I could do that myself.

Excellent product
I have a cheaper paper cutter. The difference between it and the Fiskars is very apparent. The Fiskars is much more "solid", smooth, works much better than the cheap one I had been using. The scoring attachment works perfectly and easily. I'm very pleased with it.

A Cut Above the Rest!
I use this paper cutter all the time. I make flyers for my church. Before this paper cutter I used to make full size flyers - Letter Size. Now I make 1/2 page flyers printed on both sides. I also use the paper cutter to make smaller cards and quick survey sheets - usually English on one side and Spanish on the other side.

Good for the Money
The swing out arm is not precise. The cutter is great and it comes with an extra blade. It cuts through many layers of card stock as well as the backing to a pad of paper.

Excellent, though with one small design flaw
Works exactly as expected; cuts paper cleanly. It comes with an extra, replacement cutting tool--that's good--but there is no way to keep it attached until it's needed.
