Great tool for home or office!
In the short time I have had this paper trimmer, I have already found many occasions to use it. It is so compact and the wire cut-line enables you to see exactly where the paper will be trimmed. Better than my old cutter/trimmer
My old cutter/trimmer died. When I looked for another there was none like my previous one. I "took a chance" on this one and I'm VERY GLAD I did. It cuts better and cleaner than my old one and with less pressure needed.

It’s okay. It cuts.
It cuts. The cut wire might be very difficult for those with less than perfect vision to see. It only cuts a few pages deep, based on the highest page. I thought I could use this to trim a pamphlet’s uneven edges, but the blade is too short. If you only need to cut a few sheets and your vision is excellent, then this works very well. Otherwise, it won’t impress you.

Fiskars Paper Trimmer - good value
I recently used this trimmer for a relatively large project (approximately 500 quick cuts in a short time). It worked very well, particularly when I had to trim extremely small amounts.

Easy to use
Granted, this is my first paper cutter purchase so I can't compare it to other products out there but I really like it! It was able to slice through thick cardstock with clean lines. Sure beats hand-cutting and is certainly much more precise.

Nice quality but...
I finally figured out how to use the swing out arm. I was holding it in my hands trying to swing it out, but you need to put it on a table, push down on it as you swing it out and then it works. There are no instructions on that, and it was trial and error to figure it out.

Compact, sturdy, low volume cutter!
I used this to trim the four edges on my Christmas letter and found that it was easy to use. I tried cutting 4 sheets at once and it took some force to move the tiny blade thru the paper. It did not leave clean edges so I re-cut them. It could handle 2 pages of normal weight inkjet paper perfectly well.

Struggles
I used a similar one by a different manufacturer for more than 5 years. From the start, this one didn't cut cardstock unless you really bear down, and struggled with two sheets of regular paper.
