Great backpack!
I bought this for my 7th grade granddaughter. This is a serious backpack! It is sturdy, although lightweight, has plenty of room for her laptop, lunch, and schoolbooks. It is also a darker color so it won't show the dirt from traveling back and forth to school so much. She loves it and that's what counts the most.

This backpack is exactly the same one (or a very similar one) that I used as a student many years ago. It’s a good size, well-balanced so that the weight of the contents are held close to the body and their weight keeps tension on the backpack straps which keeps them from slipping off one’s shoulders. JanSport backpack is sturdy, versatile, and the compartment of this backpack is excellent. There is a side pocket for my water bottle, the 2 front pocket with zipper can hold my keys, student I.D. card, and the inside, I can placed my laptop and books inside with the protector sleeves. I really love this backpack and I know for sure this will last me for several years...
