Plastic and Particle Board
I am returning this item. I am stunned by the materials it is made of and how much it costs. I thought if I spent a decent amount of money, I would get decent quality. NOTHING is made of metal except the screws. A file cabinet should have metal brackets to bear the weight of the files. The brakes are PLASTIC.

Unfortunately not worth the money
This office furniture is not worth the price paid. Very difficult to put together and the final product was not what I expected. If I could easily return it I would, but since I am in the 20th floor of a San Francisco office building I have to keep it. I would NOT recommend the purchase of this furniture. You do not get what you paid for. I could of got better quality ...

Overall the file went together easily and looks good and worth the price. I expect it to last for a number of years. Now some negatives. It was short a half dozen of the long screws needed for assembling the drawers and had to use what I had on hand. Aslo, used that as an opportunity to strengthen the drawers. I used Elmers wood glue where I could throughout the ass...
