It’s pretty strong—goes easily through multiple sheets of paper.
I’m unhappy that it came without staples. Couldn’t they put one stack in it?

Hefty Well Made Stapler

Bostitch Classic Stapler
While there are other brands of staplers, the Bostitch Brand is classic! And it performs as a stapler should...a "real" stapler! The weight, the action and the size - together - makes the Bostitch a reliable stapler EVERY time. It uses standard staples and clogging-up something you WON'T have to deal with.

Metal stapler
Last of the metal ones...plastic ones are displacing the durable legacy metal ones. False economy to newer generations. My grandson had a project on a visit. He coveted my 55 year old one. Did 2 to 100+ pgs.

Excellent stapler. More than I wanted to spend for a stapler but in the long run it’s worth it. Have had cheap ones at work in the past that did nothing but jam. The worst. This one is heavy not plastic, came with staples, and feels like it will last. Smooth.

when needed
i was in parking lot and stapler broke at home --- so i went inside and purchased a stapler did not need electric and a pocket stapler so i purchased this model, looks as if it would work. i do not need it yet but i am sure it will be in working order when called upon for duty
