Erasable gel
My children love these pens for taking class notes. They produce a darker more defined text than a pencil but they do not require sharpening or lead refills. Yet they can also erase flubs. If you need a permanent ink like for signing the back of a credit card or financial documents do not use these pens.

Be careful what you Use them for!!
Love these pens. However be careful. If the document gets warm the ink disappears. I accidentally left a handwritten report on the seat of my car and the entire report disappeared. DO NOT USE FOR IMPORTANT DOCUMENTS.
