Luuuh it
I couldn't be more pleased w/ my purchase of this trash can. I love the volume of the bag. The quiet of the lid, the easy clean up. Although expensive, I did some math. In 10 years (warranty), it comes out as less than 4 cents a day to keep me happy in my kitchen.

Not Great Trash Can!
My simplehuman trashcan is smaller then my last and quality is not near as good and sturdy.
We would have ordered the larger one but you only had it in recycle.

Best trash can I've had or ever seen for in-home.
This is my 3ᴿᴰ or 4ᵀᴴ high quality, stainless steel kitchen garbage receptacle and this one is by far the easiest to rebag and you can leave it against a wall because the lid lifts gently and quietly without contacting the wall behind or anything. This 45L size fits 13-gallon trash bags perfectly so it would work well with anything larger than about 11-gallons, I would ...

Second purchase in 17 years
After dealing with the messes of children, that turned into teens, that turned into adults during the last 17 years, we've finally decided to retire our Simplehuman kitchen wastebasket, and we got a new one. Love the modularity of this model and how it seamlessly fits against our kitchen island. Have a feeling this one will last another 17 years.
