Have had this for two weeks and am happy so far. I've never been a fan of air conditioning but can no longer tolerate the high heat and humidity so....this is taking care of that problem better than I expected for the price. Does not cool
I am so sorry I purchased this unit it does not cool my bedroom and does nothing for the humidity in the room. I would never purchase an LG again. Terrible unit very disappointed

unusual mold growth
This is a well-made AC two of which we are replacing after 3 or 4 years of use because of unusual mold growth. We've had many window ACs but I've never seen this kind of mold growth. It drained well to the outside.

Disappointing.
In late spring of this year I replaced an LG 6000 BTU air conditioner with another LG. After just a few months I noticed from the outside of the hast the back side of the unit was all rusty. Also, I bought the model because the description said it was quiet to run. It definitely was not. Sorry to say how disappointing this has been.

If you're experiencing loud noise during operation, this is likely normal but can be reduced by turning down the fan setting. LG window air conditioner
I use this air conditioner in my 300sf living room and it keeps the area very cool. It is not the most quiet model but for the size, ease of window installation and efficiency is a reliable good choice.

Not very cooling
This u it is nice and small so we are using it to cool a south facing bedroom after it heats up in the afternoon Colorado sun. Unfortunately it doesn’t actually cool very much. Its a "cool" cooler for its size
This small air conditioner packs a nice punch above its weight. Cools off our dining area quickly even on the really hot days we have been having. Also, it is pretty quiet even when running at high cooling setting. Nice unit
I initially bought one then I liked it so much I bought another. Less noisy then most window units. When the compressor cycles the window doesn't shake like my old one did. I like that it vents up so it is not blowing directly on you and directing the air to the hottest part of the room, the ceiling. You can buy cheaper, why not buy better?
