Does not cut
This device is horrible. I peeled a potato put in the cutter and it would not cut. I tried with all my might and it would not budge. I put it on the ground stood on it with one foot and nothing. I hoped on it and tried to push down on it while standing on it and it finally cut. I WEIGH 194 POUNDS. I am so hot this thing is literally garbage.

Good
Works good on potatoes but you have to be tall enough to push down from above. Being short I had to place it on a stool so that I could push down on it.

Great for making chips and dicing stuff
Had it a long time. I use it to make friend and dice everything from carrots to apples. Only wish it had different size blades for larger or smaller fries/chips and dicing.

Great Concept
I do LOVE this product, but I find it a bit uncomfortable to use sometimes. The plastic pieces stick together, making it hard to get apart. I do love that it helps to make french fries so easily, and the size of them is perfect.

It took a while to figure it out but I realized that the best and easiest way to get the potatoes through the blade is to cut an end off each potato to flatten it then sit the flattened portion on the cutter blade. That way a greater surface area of the potato contacts cutter blade and makes pushing the potato through A LOT easier. Of course this did not yield the ...

Fry cutter
Doesnt cut well enough for fries. Have to cut potato in half before using this which makes the fries more like tater tots because they are small.

Great little gadget
This saves me time and cuts the potato into perfect fries! All I do is peel the skin off of the potato and put it inside and it cuts with no problem. This is worth the money!

Easy to use and clean, works well, inexpensive.
I bought this today and tried it. It went through 6 potatoes in no time. The straight-down movement is superior to lever designs that tend to break the materials. Any adult can use this because all you have to do is put some weight on it and we're all more than heavy enough for that.

Not for the weak!
I used this item only twice. Although it cuts lovely fries, it takes a fair amount of strength to operate on large potatoes. The second time I used it, the bloades fell off as the potato was very hard.
