Wet hair?this works
This is the North country.
When I go to the gym I have neither the time nor the patience to use the hair dryer.
Instead I use the mask which works well.

Withstood the Arctic!
I bought this before a trip up to the Arctic Circle and it sure did keep things warm while out in the middle of winter! I like the hinge design so you can pull it down occasionally to eat or drink, etc.

Love this. I also pull it 1/2-way up so the heavier material covers my mouth: a coronavirus mask that can easily be slipped off & on. Is there lightweight model for warmer weather?

Balaklava
Bought it for use as a covid mask. It will work well but for this winter. It is too hot for summer in S. Louisiana.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great feel and quality. The only complaint I have is the hinge feels to be pretty far back but it does allow the mask to come far enough down to reveal your whole face. I love the fabric in front of the mouth and nose. Even -5 degree weather it didn't freeze and become uncomfortable!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow, I finally get to use this. My wife got this for me about a year ago in the hopes it would be something to keep my bald head warm at work. Well, she was right. I have also started to use it outside of work as well. I really like that if I get to warm I can move either part to cool off. Also, the hi-vis option works...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best face mask I've ever worn. The fit is perfect and the material is high quality. You don't get the scratching noise in your ears when you move your head side to side. The front portion over your mouth is very breathable and prevents moisture build up inside the cloth. I would highly recommend for any col...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fantatic for warmth, breathes extremely well. Wore all day on WI's deer season opener, about 30 degrees and 35mph winds. Face stayed warm and comfortable. Definitely recommend!

Does not work well with beards, constantly needing adjustment, and glasses instantly fogged up. I purchased this to wear while I ride my motorcycle. My initial donning of the product was pleasant. It is very comfortable and easy to breath through the mesh. However, when I put it on for a ride, my glasses instantly fogged up. The fog would only go away if I was moving (...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works great for riding around the golf course. Love the mesh mouth piece. It allows the protection from the wind and cold while still allowing me to breath easily.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The balaclava is extremely warm while working outside. It blocks wind extremely well except for the went hole. It does let cold air through especially if driving an open vehicle. Overall it is comfortable and preformed well through the rough winter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Now that it's FINALLY cold enough to have properly tested the 6823 balaclava here's what I think. The 6823 is without a doubt a nice product. It's soft and extends down your neck enough to keep drafts out and lock the heat in. However, the hinging aspect which makes it nice and easy to regulate your temperature by bein...

Response from Staples :
Thanks for the feedback, Dan! Sorry the product didn’t fit. Because everyone’s noggin is different, we created eight different balaclava models, each with unique designs and features. We would suggest you try the N-Ferno 6825 Nomex FR Balaclava. It will have the soft extended neck to block cold but doesn’t have the hinged design which may provide a better fit for your head. Also, working as an electrician, FR protection is important – the 6825 will provide the arc protection you need when using on the jobsite.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought this was a great piece – a little too warm to wear in Antarctica but overall really nice. I like the hinged mask however, I think that the actual face mask might need to be a bit more fitted – when it’s loose around the chin, your breath will go down toward your neck versus out the thinner fabric – (which I t...
