Hard to assemble and broke within 3 weeks
DO NOT BUY. We bought this (my husband did actually he is the Stephen S. below from April 21st. It was very difficult to assemble but what's worse it broke within 3 weeks of assembly. Fortunately Staples treated us very well and made things right excellent customer service. He could not delete or edit his review so I am writing a new one.

Cable for lever adjustment keeps breaking
I bought this desk last year but have already had to replace the cable twice. The desk is solid and otherwise works great, but the adjustment lever wears the cable out within a couple of months and then the desk is unusable.

Not what I was looking for
The unit was not as sturdy as I had hoped for. Typing on a keyboard in the upright position was difficult as the unit kept moving. I think it would have helped if it had legs rather than a base, as it seems as though the base was not large enough.

Great Product
Not that difficult to assemble and this device is very sturdy. I plan on using it for my laptop computer while standing for awhile. The top surface area is large enough for the laptop as well as a mouse pad so I did not install the lower level shelf. The air riser device is very simple to operate. Not a big fan
Overall this is a waste of money. Here are the pros and cons: Pros - - Raises and lowers easily. Cons - - It is a pain to assemble. None of it is already assembled. - The keyboard extension is too low and should be adjustable when you raise the monitor. Great standing desk
I really like this standing desk. The manual could have been written a little better (it's important to align the release clip wire in a certain position before you assemble the two sections around it--look at the photos) it was relatively easy to assemble and works very nicely!

This is what you need!
This sit stand desk converter works so well it is just what I was looking for. It's a little tricky to put together but is very sturdy and the raising/lowering mechanism is solid. Plenty of work space too. I'm extremely happy with it!

Sit Stand Desk Converter
Although not fully aware this was to be put together by me it went together pretty easily and has turned out to be a very sturdy and useful product and has lived up to it's expectations. Given my need to stand more vs sitting am looking forward to using it for the conceivable future to ease back pain issues which are made worse by continued sitting in my office.

Good quality but very large
Its nice but a bit more bulky than I had imagined they had a different one in the store to view which was much larger so I hoped it would be a little smaller since I couldn't actually see it I just knew the dimensions were less. It's a bit overwhelming in size.

Getting used to it
Have just had this for a week. Working through sciatic nerve inflammation made worse by sitting - which I do a lot! This breaks up the day so I stand much more.

Good Sit Stand Desk Converter
Have only been using it a few days. I do notice that when I am using the keyboard that the monitor 'bounces around' a bit. Nothing earth shattering or that would cause a problem just a tad annoying. Sit Stand Desk Converter Does It
Its a bit heavier than I imagined it but it works. Fits well inside my 30" workspace. Adjusts easily. More affordable than many other units. I think Staples could sell more of them if they were available in the stores. I took a chance by ordering it without seeing it....and I was pleasantly surprised.
