Perfect for home

Not very powerful, no need for dual hose
Surprised by how little cold air it generates. Also the dual hose design is actually a negative: pulling air in from outside when California has smoky skies is bad, so I am not using the intake hose at all and just letting it draw room air in. It's okay, but more big, heavy, and expensive than I expected, and it doesn't really cool the room adequately.

Cools air

Great features works great!
I got this ac about two weeks ago and I have nothing but good things to say about it. Cools down room perfectly and even has a heater awesome! I highly recommend it!

Cold Air During Hurricane

The air conditioner has been a G-d send to me. Altho I have central air, the bedroom is still very warm. Don't know what I'd do without it!

Keeping me cool

Works better than I expected
I've tried these portable A/C's before and not been impressed. I think the key here is this one was for a college dorm room - small confined space. I was a little concerned because the windows are small and only tilt out about 6 inches. But the student has reported back that in > 1 hour the temp dropped from 82 to 72. Good a/c
if you need portable ac, this is it...it is loud, block your ears and have a goodnight sleep...the window type is a little less noisy but you can't moving it around like this portable unit..

AMAZING AC!!
We have a pretty big bedroom that has vaulted ceilings this unit cools it down really fast. It was easy to put together and I don’t feel it is too loud. This was totally worth the money we paid for it.

Best Model Yet!!!
I have had 3 different portable ac units in the past and this one is by far the best one. Cools very quickly and is the quietest out of them all. I will be buying another one for another room.

Does not cool a small room
This unit should handle a 12x10 bedroom. I set it for 61 degrees F. Lowest it brings temp to is 68 even on a not so hot day.
