Almost perfect match
This adapter matched the specs for my Toshiba laptop: 65w, 19v, 3.42a. It took just one day to arrive from a Staples warehouse. I haven't had any problems since I bought it. However, only the Lenovo tip fit. The Toshiba tip was too small.

Adapter did not work on our new Dell laptop so i returned it.

Universal charger/adaptor not so universal
While it did charge -- although it took 1 1/2 hours to charge the laptop -- the laptop did not recognize the adaptor (?). Repair people said I should get a DELL charger.

This adapter isn’t universal at all.
This universal adapter didn’t work with our Dell laptop even though it has a tip that’s supposed to work on Dell laptops. We had to return it.

Extremely over priced
I needed this item immediately and as a result I had to pay double the average price for it. I am not happy about that but I had no choice. Would not recommend it to anyone.

Not compatible
Got the charger for my HP laptop and it is a bit older but i still expected the charger to fit and work. Although it didn't perfectly, my laptop knew a charger was there but it simply wouldn't charge it. Many other pieces for other brands of laptops though so I can hopefully still use it on a new laptop.

Great product! Might be a bit cumbersome take in your bag though
Works really well so far! There are enough adapter tips to cover all charging port types that I have seen. The only thing is, calling it an 'adapter' might be a bit of a stretch since from what I can tell - although I may be wrong - you can't use any part of it to adapt a cord you already to fit a different port style. So you still have to take the whole thing with you ...
