Netgear Wi-Fi Adapter
The Netgear Wi-Fi Adapter was easy to install, in my old HP Computer. It provides my household with a very fast internet connection. This is exactly what was needed for my computer and TV streaming.

It Worked
The adapter made it possible for me to connect to wi-fi, however, the first instruction for installing it was to down load an ap. How the hell do you download an ap with no wi-fi?! I had to take it to my computer guy to make use of it.

Small adaptor, requires driver prior to plugin (win)
Requires driver download prior to installation, meaning you need access to internet. And Windows did not automatically install anything, even with a wired connection initially. And my box did not contain any installation media, which should have been included according to the manual.

Couldn't get it to work
I couldn't get it to work ! I'm a retired computer builder and despite everything I tried, Microsoft setup, new router, Microsoft troubleshooting, updated drivers (error message always said potential driver problem) no wireless joy. All cellphones worked just fine, wirelessly connected to router. Hooked up Ethernet cable and everything worked fine.

Does what it's supposed to
Don't generally buy Netgear equipment but had no choice. Needed an adapter pretty quick & couldn't wait for a delivery. However, this unit did exactly what it's supposed to do. Wish Staples would carry other brands so I had a choice.

I have been using this dongle for quite some time now and am very pleased with it. My old laptop has only a 54Mbps connection and with this adapter I can get up to 866Mbps. Quite the improvement for an old dinosaur of a laptop

Easy to make a computer wifi ready
This solution is just what you need to make a computer wifi capable with a simple plug and play device. Lots of older computers did not have wifi built in, This small device just plugs into a USB ports and gives that old computer wifi which allows it to join the whole house network without any hard wiring required, Same in a small office situation.

Wi-Fi adapter.
Out of nowhere my Wi-Fi stopped working on my laptop. I had it looked at and they told me it was something internally, so the easy fix was this simple inexpensive Wi-Fi adapter that works great! I am back in business. The good thing is you can use this in any device that has a USB!
