Lid doesn't stay latched
The lid for the compartment for small items falls open when the lid is open all the way to the file section. Otherwise the compact size is good for carrying or storing a smaller set of documents.

The perfect size
I bought this small file box to fit in a small space in my office to hold just the most recent paper detritus that I'm unwilling to part with. The hanging file folders are a perfect fit, and it fits in the little gap perfectly. Very pleased with my purchase.

Handle snapped off
The handle snapped off the first day I had it and I could not get it back on. I returned it. Possibly someone with stronger hands could’ve put it back on, but I could not.

Size is what I wanted but the little plastic top part does not snap so it constantly pops open.....can't put anything in it.

Better Size File Box
Just the kind of file I wanted. Serves my purpose. The only thing I am not happy with is that there is no way to keep it closed. The lid does not snap or have any mechanism on the front to keep the folders from spilling onto the floor if I should drop the box or accidentally knock it over. I

It didn't workout. I had to return it. It's too narrow of a base - it kept falling over! You open the lid and it falls over! You put files in it and open the lid, it falls over! You set it down with files in it - it falls over. No bueno!
