I will not recommend it impossible to set up and has hardware and software problems.

Epson ET-M3170
Paper feed does jam sometimes. I must keep just a small amount of paper in the machine or it can jam.

Decent Printer
I am a little disappointed with how much this printer jams or says it has ran out of paper when there is still paper in the tray. I do quick of bit of printing so I can only do a few jobs at a time before there is an issue.

Hands down the WORST printer I have ever owner. Within one month it has had consistent paper jams and is now requesting the printer head needs service. It prints the paper backwards so it is hard to get it out.

Epson Good Product can do better

More noisy than expected but does a nice job
Unpacking was more painful than I thought it would be - there is tape EVERYWHERE! There is about a 10 minute first-time charge of the ink; so setup takes nearly 30 minutes from in box to printing. Does copy quickly; however the printer is much more noisy than I expected - particuarly since it gave a spec for the noise level I expected it to be quieter than other print...

Functional Machine
It is nice to have the ability to copy, print, and scan all in one device. Not 5 stars because the printer is noisy, and the copy and scan functions are slow. One week in and no real complaints.

Almost perfect
Works really well however 1 drawback and 1 annoyance. Drawback the print out goes the wrong way so awkward to remove the sheet, you need to get used to it. Annoyance, there is a hiccup with Windows, after your computer sleeps and wakes a page with very little printing comes out the words "host: local host" prints at the top of the sheet. Happy with Purchase
Setting up the printer was easy when reading and following the instructions. It prints well and it's easy to use. I researched many printers read many reviews and I'm so glad I purchased the Epson EcoTank ET-M1170 printer!

Does not connect to MacBook Ai
Despite calls to tech support at Epson the printer does not connect to my 2.4G network. Epson suggested that I use a cable to make a one-time connection but does not supply the cable. Unfortunately it is going back.

Not sure why it was not compatable with my software program kept defaulting back to recipient fax instead of printing a check. Had softwear tech.support and professionally installed.
