Retractable gel pens
Our staff loves these pens. I like the quick dry ink (being left handed). They are smooth to use, easy to grip, and go on dark and legible. We've used them since they first came out and continue to re-order.

skips and almost never starts
I have used the .5mm tru red pens exclusively for a while and wanted to try the 1.0mm. I love the thickness but this pen has terrible performance on smooth paper. It is scratchy, it skips and it almost never starts at first write. The smoother the paper, the worse this pen performs. On some of my paper, the ink just bubbles up on top. LEFT HANDERS NIGHTMARE
I love True Red 1.0m pens and swear by them. Smoothest writing experience from a pen in this price range, the ink disperses evenly and solidly, but stay AWAY from these! My left hand is covered in ink at the end of my shift. I know that's normal for left handers but I've had 32 years to learn how to do it without getting ink on me to the point pictured below. one leaked...

Simply the best!
Quality pens much better than the Pilot G-2 07 and Paper Mate Profile Ball that I used as a signature pen. Black, bold and glides easily on the page. Simply the best so far!

Very disappointed in Tru Red
I ordered a 5 pack and not a single pen worked for more than 5 minutes. Called the 1-800 number on the pen package and a very nice customer service lady sent me another pack. All 5 pens on the second package also didn’t work more than 5 minutes although I did notice the lot number was the same on both packs.
I am done with True Red.

Tru Red Retractable Quick Dry Gel Pen
Highly disappointed. Inferior product. The pen feels like there is sand in the ink when you write with it. Did a return on the first package I received. The replacement was no better. I didn't want to bother with a return on the second package. I guess I will just toss them in the trash.

Idk if maybe I got a bad batch, because these ones write kinda skippy and scratchy.

Delightful Set of Pens :-)
TRU Red is my new go-to pen!!! Each has a soft grip to conform to a comfortable hold. The way the gel flows is consistent. It writes very well on any quality paper. The gel remains bold and dries quickly and smoothly with no added smudges. They're the best writing pens for all your notary needs at home or in the office :-)
