This is a great scale to weigh smaller things. But this scale can’t be used for postal shipping.

Blatant false advertising
In the picture the display reads “0.000 g,” implying that this scale is accurate to 0.001 g, which was necessary for my chemistry project and the reason I purchased this item. In actuality it is only accurate to 0.01 g, or a milligram. When you are using a scale for scientific purposes you need one additional significant figure to ensure the place before it is accurate....

Needed a small scale with at least a 4"x4" balance pan with 500G capacity and readable to 0.01g with tare feature. It also contains an overload indicator and and lets you know when batteries (2xAAA) are low.
