A great multipurpose organizer
I needed a way to organize my personal laptop and my two work laptops in my home office and this 3-tiered tray works perfectly. The rims in the front of each compartment provide security to prevent the laptops from sliding off but having the sides open allows for flexibility in laptop size. Perfect Organizational Tool
This was exactly what I needed to get my desk organized. I use it freestanding. I can say if your stack on top is bigger than the bottom and the stand isn't secured I could see where it could topple. I love this product.

It shakes a lot; I am guessing that this makes it seem flimsy. Hence we went ahead and purchased a heavier 6 tray organizer more solid no shaking.
