Works as expected
The metal magazine file is currently sitting on my desk filled with folders and magazines. It fits 10+ magazines quite easily, and is easily moveable. The mesh design allows it to be sturdy but flexible if the need arises to add that one final magazine or folder. It can also easily be used outside an office setting.

measurement description not accurate
I needed 4.5" width so I ordered. however, when i actually measure the width, it was 4"

Magazine file
Most stores don't carry wide enough magazine files so this one is perfect to hold my phone books and reservation and receipt book by the phone without being too bulky

Magazine Rack has an alternative purpose
I was tired of having files (all see-through plastic) stacked on the desk so I bought a mesh styled magazine rack to hold them. Great Container For Storage
