Works amazingly indoors or out, especially with metal to metal contact. Make sure to warm it in the sun before peeling and USE A RAZOR to cut the tape and peel the backing off. You cannot do it with your fingers

Does not hold
I bought this tape for my classroom at school to mount foam board, (weighs less than 1 lb.It did not hold and actually fell off the wall.
It has also left all of the sticky pieces of tape and I cannot remove them.

Backing near impossible to remove
Purchased this product to help in mounting drawer fronts to drawers. Adhesion is not an issue but, the removal process of the tape backing to expose the 2nd side is near impossible. I gave up and had to purchase a different product from a different brand to finish my job.

Product does not work for most applications
Product does not work adhering a 6.5# fixture to a mirror. Cleaned surfaces well and carefully applied. Held for about 12 hours and then fell off. The side that fell off the mirror had minimal remaining stickiness and the side on metal rolled off with ease. The 50%+ "1" reviews make a loud statement.

The backing does not peel off
The backing does not peel off. I threw the whole role away after fighting with it. Impossible to use.

Useless if the red strip won't some off!!
I would love to know if this mounting tape works, but I can't for the life of me get the red strip off of the double side to see if it sticks!! The red strip it so stuck to the tape, I can't get it off making it useless!!!

No longer a reliable product.
This is not the first time, not the second time, but now the third time that this product has failed me. I own a sign & graphics shop and I rely heavily on a product that can keep signs up on a wall regardless of what the finish is on the wall. Do not use on painted Cinderblock
Well, I tried it in my classroom on painted cinderblock. It did not work. Said it would, but did not. So far, it is holding up posters on a painted surface. I am sure it is a quality product, just not for painted cinder.

complete waste of money. I could not even remove the red backing. It is far from double sided tape. This product is an absolute scam.

don't waste your money.
pure junk. unfortunately I cannot get my money back for this since I had to use it to find out it was pure junk. I applied it pulled the backing tape off and all it was was foamy hardly any sticky to it at all. Shame on you Scotch.

This product is the worst!! Getting the backing off is like quantum physics ... by the time you get a corner to start peeling you have stretched and mangled half the piece of tape in the process. The only way the term "industrial" applies to this tape is the way it sticks to my fingernails while trying to fight with the backing. Otherwise it doesn't stick to anything. I...

Doesn’t hold at all. Nothing.
States it can hold up go 20lbs, so I tested it first with paper towels and it won’t even hold. The paper towel holder is very light and paper towels don’t weigh much themselves. Glad I tested before hanging a small camera above our heads. Waste of almost $6

Tried to hang a plastic mirror that weighs 8lbs on tile with this tape to avoid drilling. I used a whole roll of tape, and though it held for about 3 weeks, it eventually started to sag, stretch and finally detached from both the tile and the back of the mirror. ZERO is more accurate..."extreme"?..."industrial strength"?..."holds 30 pounds!" Hey that"s twice the load of several other brands that are 2 inches long. And for this to hold 30 pounds you only have to use... uh...ALL OF IT.

Lousy!
Terrible. Seems to stick amazingly to the scissors making it very difficult to work with, hard to peel the back side off, and then for the punch line to the joke..... it barely sticks to any application. Worthless. I ended up using the double-sided stickers you would use for hangars.

Trash . Doesn’t work . Maybe for a few days. Especially if u have HVAC . Hyped up trash. Tried it numerous times thinking I measured wrong versus weight but it’s just a trash product with good marketing

I Used for a College project and is way stronger
I Used for a College project and it is way stronger than advertised. If you follow the instructions and apply this tape on a smooth surface at the recommended temp. it will definitely hold what you need. I did fail Tests on a 4x3in patch of tape and it resisted 175 lbs of force, that amount of tape is advertised to only hold about 6lb. If you apply this right it is incr...

This product works! Ignore bad reviews. User error
If you prep this correctly it is amazing even when wet. I read the bad reviews like I do for everything I buy to see if it’s an actual poor product or the DIYers are just dumb. The ones here are the later…I am not sorry. Buy this, do it right, it’s insane and will hold more than rated.
