I wanted to organize some papers in hanging file folders that I would have easy access to and these file boxes are perfect. The boxes are sturdy, file folders hang well, there is no odor to the plactic (some placstic boxes have an odor that doesnt go away), lids fits well and are easy to put on. Very disappointed!
Once you put the hanging files and folders in the box, there is no room for the folder tabs! The hanging file slot was not positioned low enough in the box. Therefore, all of the file folder tabs are bent over and smashed down. I will be returning these once the stores open again!!

My biggest criterion in selecting this particular box was that it had a NON-locking lid. If you need a storage box or file box (which this officially is) that you can get into and out of frequently, sometimes the locking features get in the way. Great for my filing needs
We had a large filing cabinet et back in the day when everything was kept on paper. Not necessary any more, but there are a few documents we still keep.
This was just the right size for downsizing, but still keeping important documents in one place. It's light, the lid fits great and the files glide nicely. Highly recommend.
