HORRIBLE
I’ve had this for years and didn’t realize a printer could be this big of a problem. It’s always jamming, always glitches out when I need to print more than 4 pages, and says it needs more paper when it’s full of paper. Couldn’t think of a bigger useless piece of crap in my house over this printer that’s works just as good as a wet sponge

Cannot Select Tray for Paper
I have installed lots of printers. This is the most frustrating printer ever. In the end I am unable to select the correct tray for plain paper. Epson's online support is non existent. I do not recommend this printer.

Replacing older 7100 printer
Replacing 7100 printer with new 7100. Works as indicated. Excellent printer. Have not installed new one yet, but expect it to work like the current printer. I broke an ink tab on current printer, and waiting for the ink to run dry as the cartridge cannot be replaced. New 7100 still in the box.

The Cost of Greatness
The print quality is exceptional, the best of any home printer I've ever used. The scanner is great. The rear feed tray is perfect for cardstock/thicker types of paper. However, the ink cartridges are tiny, and expensive, and it feels like they run out about every other print. connectivity issues
we have had this printer for months. We thought we were upgrading. Every time we want to print we have to figure out how to get the wifi to work. It's hit or miss and takes up way too much time.

Very Functional Printer
Extremely pleased with this printer and its features. Print quality and color are excellent. The only drawback is you need to tell it what tray to print to for some documents as it defaults to the CD/DVD tray on some of them.

depressing.
I bought this for the convenience of having a printer when needed. It worked well when i used it (about a dozen times over a 14 month period). And then it experienced a major mechanical failure. It’s depressing to waste money. Worse to add another piece of junk to the landfills. Do better, Epson.

Short print life
I purchased this printer exactly one year ago and it has stopped printing. It has been streaking for a month or more and now does not print in black at all and it won't perform a nozzle check until I replace all of the ink cartridges which is close to $100 and that isn't a guarantee it will work. I would not recommend it - especially at the price it is now.

Great Printer and Scanner
Great printer. High quality output. Was very easy to setup without difficulty. The scanner is excellent, however I have only used the flatbed scan surface as of this review. The ADF mechanism has not been used since I only scan documents one at a time. However, I’m sure the ADF works well.

Great photo quality
This ia my third XP-7100 printer. The photo quality is great and I like all the different printing features. I just wish they would last longer. I get about two years out of them. They start to release black ink smudges on the photos after about two years.

No need for fancy tray to open and close on using
The printer appears to work fine but the receiver tray is a pain and removing paper input tray is also awkward.I can see no real value with the tray going in or out other than another part to wear out after the warranty.Have a manual tray that you push in and pull out that won't break down.We also get notices about upgrades or similar to download but then nothing happen...

Worst printer ever
Got a lemon. Always error printing. Cable seems loose. Takes so long to connect to even print anything, even though it says wifi connection is excellent. Just annoying. Think I'll just go buy a Canon or Brother.

Does not print 100% size. Only printer I've had that just won't. Have tried everything and it refuses. If you don't need it to do that it's great

Worthless Piece of Trash - Won't Connect
Easy enough to unbox -where it sits as a paperweight. The software can supposedly find the printed but fails on setup. I've wasted hours on the "troubleshooting" ("I.T. Department, have you tried turning it off and turning it back on again."). YES. Yes, I've disabled my firewall. Yes, it's got good signal strength. The piece of trash just won't connect.

DON'T BUY!! Requires reinstallation for every print job
It CONSTANTLY errors and I can never just print something. It's the most problematic printer I've ever owned. If you go more than a couple of days without printing, you'll have to uninstall and reinstall the printer/driver on your computer to get it to print again. It's seriously a piece of crap device.

The print quality is only average and it constantly requires cleaning. I have had two Canon printers that lasted forever and never required cleaning the way this one does.
