Epson Printers will fail
I had an Epson XP-960 and beware! Once your ink tank maintenance is full, your printer is no longer repairable. You cannot buy a part if you are on Mac. You will be forced to buy a new printer. Your printer will be obsolete.

Does the job
Does the job for the price. You can tell its cheaply made. But for $129.99 its worth the price for me to use at home. No problems.

I've been looking for a printer to replace my 12yrs old Epson WF-3540. It was a great printer but the Cyan printhead starting to show it's age. I bought the Epson Expression XP-7100 to replace it. Epson Color Inkjet Printer - nice
First non-hp printer in a long time packaged well with no damage upon delivery easy setup like how the printer tray comes out and back in after print job screen display easy to read and touch screen is sensitive to light touch. Only been using for a week so will see how it holds up.

Easy to set up

Excellent printer
I had an Epson XP-440 for about 4 years. The prints of photos and documents it printed were very good. Lately a small black blotch appeared on documents. I could not eliminate it using the maintenance tools. The XP-7100 printer is a dream. It is so much more substantial of a printer and the prints photos that it prints are excellent. P.S. Over charged.
Purchased the Epson XP-7100 and was charged $249. The actual cost at Staples and multiple stores was $149. Manager credited my account for the difference. Bought the 4 year protection plan and also paid $49.99; actual price on line was $39.99. $10 difference. Need to pay more attention to ACTUAL item cost. Set up printer. I like the printer alit. I accidentally opened the wrong ink color (black) and quickly replaced the green plastic cover and put it back into the plastic bag then sealed it shut with tape. This Is A Great Printer For My Needs!!!!!!!
This is the second XP-970 I've purchased. I use it exclusively to print on printable CDs & DVDs. It does an excellent job with color rendering that results in a professional product. I have used these Epson CD/DVD printers for years and found the Print CD software to be extremely flexible.

Excellent Quality
The quality of printing and especially of photos is excellent with very accurate colors. A little challenging to set up although well worth the effort.
