Perforations dont work well
Even if you're being careful the perforations are poor enough to make tearing down into the pages very easy when you're trying to get them out. It's really too bad because other than that these pads are great. But you're going to have quite a few pages torn unevenly at the top. I bought a dozen of these but I won't buy any more unless I find solution to this.

Quality notepad
I like the thickness of the paper and the narrow ruled lines. Nothing bleeds through.

Tru Red Note pads
Love this product! I have previously purchased these note pads before and keep them in stock. At first I thought it was a bit tricky pulling the sheets out without tearing them. I learned by putting pressure down at the top of the pad while pulling the paper straight out and not up it worked fine. I like the narrow lines and the weight of the paper.

Heavyweight pads much improved
The "heavyweight" pads with "extra-thick paper" (TR59921) are much improved and really the best I've ever used. Heavyweight paper is better than ever. (It is likely 20-lb although the packaging doesn't say.) Binding appears to be much more sturdy than every before. I love it when things get better instead of worse.

Awesome writing paper
This is my favorite paper to write letters on and to print to send to friends. I tried to get the white but those were unavailable. My printer would use a lot of yellow ink if I used this pad for all my letters. Perhaps in the future I could get white.

Perfect writing pads
These are good quality and attractive too! I love the clean looking light gray lines & also like not having the usual left margin line. Was very hard to find narrow ruled in easy on the eyes—ivory. So pleased I found these online @ staples. Could not find anywhere else. Arrived so fast too!

Love these note pads! Great service!
I have used these notepads before and love them! I love the quality of the paper and that it doesn't look like kid's school paper with blue lines and punch holes. I also use them to write letters. When I ran out and had trouble locating this product I went on line and was thrilled to see Staples carried it and had "free delivery!"I received them the next day.

Nice Looking
Nice looking but the paper is on the thinner side. I really like the fabric textured binding at the top as well as the gray lines which is why I went with this product. However the paper color is violet-white. I would not have purchased this had I seen it first in person. I prefer a true white paper. very practical
nice color that stands out from white papers. Each page or several pages tear off easily and neatly.

Great quality paper
Yes I still write things down and except for the lines being a little too close together the weight of the paper and backing are excellent.

Fine paper but no tear-off perforations
The pad is fine the paper good quality and the lines narrow as described but disappointing that the sheets do not tear off neatly. Each top is left with a ragged edge. Very surprised.

Great pads
I really like these pads. Good paper nice narrow rule color is easy on the eyes. Staples please do not discontinue these!

High Quality Great Price
I take lots of detailed notes with a fountain pen. These note pads are as good as those very expensive pads from a speciality vendor. The picture shows a pad I have set up using the Cornell Note System for a day long seminar.

Not the very best but these pads are good enough
I bought these Tru Red Notepads because they are narrow ruled and the cardboard backs are fairly sturdy. I don't yet know how well the pages tear off. They are not THE best but they are also not THE most expensive. Not THE best but GOOD ENOUGH.

These pads are from a different company. I didn't like the wide tape at the top of the pads. Didn't like the printed date indicator at the upper left. Blue lines are too bright. This is a very different pad that I'm use to buying from Staples Had to return my packet of 12 pads. I'm still looking on line for something similar to what I've always used.

College ruled pads
I love the narrow ruled legal pads. The sheets can be taken off the perforated pad but they also stay attached well. I plan on ordering more!

Heavy grade paper feels more stable while the tip of the pen is moving over it. It's much easier to write with fountain pen no bleeding.
