Broke with first use!
The part that screws into the pushbroom head snapped off inside(!) the broom head. This was light duty sweeping. The fragment inside the broom head is impossible to remove — there’s nothing to grab onto. Cheap brittle plastic. Terrible product.

It is what it is.
I bought the wooden handle thinking a broom handle was a pretty basic item used to help push a broom. This isn’t necessarily the case. It is basically a straight piece of wood with no protective coating and on it. I left it outside for an hour and it rained and the threaded portion started to “fall apart”. Works well.
My push broom head was still in great shape but the original handle was painted steel and rusting. The end cap which was plastic had broken off making a sharp edge. This new fiberglass handle fit great and won't sit and rust in my garage where the humidity is not controlled.

Great quality and price
It's the little things which make life easy. Breaking handles for the yard rake is a common occurrence. Try to buy a replacement and you land at Staples. Delivery faster than promised after 1 day and free since I bought several. Glue a 3/4" pipe insulation foam over the handle and end up with a luxury broom/rake handle.

Sturdy and well made
