Smaller than Anticipated
Quality of broom is great but the brush head is much smaller than shown in photo. I knew the length of the handle from the measurements, but I thought the head itself would be wider as shown in the picture

REALLY is only 40"h, INCLUDING the bristle part
The reviewers that said that this is not a "Standard" broom are correct. It is 40" high from top of handle to bottom of the bristles. The broom portion is also narrower than a standard broom. I actually WAS looking for an inexpensive, short, wood handled bristle broom that would be suitable for use as a "real" (toy) broom for a 2 1/2 year old. This totally fits the bill...

you get what you pay for
As expected from the price, this is a low-quality item. The fit and finish is poor, and the quantity and fineness of the bristles is not up to par. It is suitable for rough work, and I expect it will not last as long as it should, but it sure was inexpensive.

This is false advertising, the images show a 40 Inch handle and an 8 inch straw broom which would make a "standard,"as the title says, broom. The whole broom is 40 inches, barely more than three feet. This is a waste of money.
