Quality is an issue

Very stiff quality not as expected
Quality not as expected, inexpensive feel, not fabric feel. Definitely lightweight, but shoulders straps are crisp and feel sharp and scape against bare skin. I am used to a more flexible, fabric based material so this was very stiff and uncomfortable.

I bought two of these bags for summer day camp as they were large and water resistant. While it does fit all of our stuff, after one week it is already showing signs of wear. 37 year old backpack
I love my new backpack!!! In1987 my grandmother bought me a purple deluxe backpack just this year it wore a hole in the strap and I knew it was time to retire it. BAD ZIPPER
The zipper broke within 3 months of using the backpack. Also the zipper gets caught too easily in the fabric. If they either made the zipper stronger and back quality or use less fabric around the zipper this could easily be a 5 star backpack. I had an LLBean back pack in grade school and that one lasted forever with no zipper issue but this new backpack is not the same...

Great looking- one flaw
I ordered this for my 4th grader this year. It’s a great size and color. In less than 3 months, one of the mesh water bottle pockets began separating from the elastic. My kiddo takes a refillable water bottle to school every day. Customer service was great and a replacement was issued. Zipper gets stuck
This is the second one I've bought in a years time. My grandson got the zipper caught in the flap that hides the zipper. Had to cut a piece of the flap out to get it loose. Same thing happened with this new one.I got it out this time. I ended up tacking the flap back so it wouldn't get stuck again

Great except whimpy side pockets!
Great except whimpy side water bottle pockets. This is actually the second one I purchased. The first one is perfect with all the zippered pockets and compartments. The problem was the elastic gave out on the side pockets and no longer holds a water bottle. Also the pockets are shallow so only hold the shorter hydro flask bottle. My 12 year old grandson likes this backpack.
This is the best backpack I've ever bought. It has a lot of room inside. My grandson puts binder inside, along with his pencil case, and some books, and still has room for more stuff.
