Toshiba external drive
The drive is plug in ready. Attach the usb cable to drive and computer and you are ready to go. I have moved a terabyte of data and performance on a 3.0 usb port seems quite adequate.

Perfect system backup drive
I use this external hard drive for backing up my system to and it works very well. Plenty of available storage gives me room for file and system image backups. I keep it unplugged from the system when not in use, so it really is only used once a week, but that is exactly what I wanted it for. It's very compact and easy to store. No external power supply is needed...just...

You can’t go wrong with a Toshiba drive
I always buy Toshiba drives because I have never had one fail! They are fast, run cool and are quiet.
