Don't Do it. Ink Leaked out all over floor
Bought this printer from B&H and set it up last week. After putting in the ink, the Cyan leaked out of the printer and all over our floor. Epson requires three quotes for cleaning but we live in a very rural area. No carpet cleaners are going to travel two hours (each way) to give an estimate. Terrible product and no help from Epson. 3 years of decent service, with persistent issues + failure
Used this printer for a roughly 2 years and 8 months with heavy bursts of use (some months the print load would be very light, some months reaching the maximum recommended monthly print cycle, about 15,000 pages.) it does everything I need- double sided copy and scan as well as color. Just wish it was less expensive!

Unstable
This machine has constant network connectivity issues and must be unplugged to reconnect. It's slow to start and the print speed is pretty slow. Touch screen is slow for response and canceling a print or copy takes 4 separate steps to stop... making it a worthless option

Amazing Color & Crisp Documents
As a user of ET2550, I recommend this printer (ET5800) to my fire company for its crisp colors & ink cost savings for printing our banquet & special projects. It's already turning heads, a close comparison to laser. A worthwhile purchase.

I am very unhappy with Epson. I purchased my EPSON ET-5800 and no cords came with it except the electric cord? This is a fax, Printer, copier and I am not going to keep using old cords to plug into a new Printer. The Instructions… to set it up…are hard to understand, and now I wish I would have purchased from a different company! I’m old school and I’m not tech savvy…so...

It's OK. Maintenance sucks
At first, it would not print out anything without it running a nozzle head maintenance check, but before I could do it, it would make me shut the printer off and turn it back on because "it showed an error". Somehow, I tinkered with it and it would allow me to print again, but it still shows faded lines (even after maintenance checks). Not sure why it randomly does this...

Faster & reasonable complexity. Confusion does exist regarding automatic selection of trays. 11 x 14 paper fit is not simple. Works well & set up required moderate knowledge.
LOVE CHEAP INK---THIS INK TRIPLED IN PRICE!! Still better than the competition but lets get the ink back to the regular price.

Great product support was
Lacking.
I purchased my new ET5800 had to repolace
My older one because service could not figure out
A configuration that would allow it to upgrade to 5G Wi-Fi Disappointed with that the old printer was fine
They offered me a discount code that was worthless it could only be used on specific models not capable with the 5G. So that was another epic fail
Paid full price.

Spend the extra money - it's worth it !
I had a ET-3850 that was purchased from Costco . I only found it ok as usning the various functions outside of normal copying was cumbersome (scanning, duplex) .

Great for work!
Ink lasts a long time. Ink is also cheaper than our previous printers. Is a tad slow getting started by wi-fi but prints well when it gets started. Definitely recommend for home or office setting.

A Real Pain to Use
I have had this printer for almost a year. It will not take any paper thicker than 24 # including paper such as Epson matte presentation paper.(Thick paper is on).
