Way too complicated. Did not have a reliable memory; the memory did not store the number. You had to program many details that should have not been necessary. For example I wanted the sin of 45 degrees and it replied ”( square root of 2)/2”. It should have answered ”.7071”. Lousey calculator for non-mathematitions.

Exactly what it says it is.
I purchased this for a college class that requires a scientific calculator. So far no problems to mention and it’s nice that it’s solar powered. Has all the functions that a scientific calculator should. It would fit your needs for a general scientific calculator.

Good price but needlessly complicated for basic functions
Biggest criticism is that the default answer format is fractions rather than decimal. The first calculation I used it for was a dollars and cents subtraction and it gave the answer in a fraction. I had to fiddle with the settings to get it to default to decimal. Now it is OK. Good value however.

Nice compact and powerful. Functions great and display is very clear. Keys are quiet and the execution of operands where multiplication and division happen before addition and subtraction work properly. Great economical calculator.

Adequate but not for technies
As with most of current offerings this calculator uses algebraic algorithms. The more efficient RPN models are not offered in any of Staples calculators.

Casio calculator
My son in high school enjoyed the Scientific calculator he used it for class also customer service was great the cashier which happened to be the assistant manager was very nice and helpful we definitely come back again
