Not for the microwave
When I put the cup in the microwave to heat up my coffee for 30 seconds the cup came out with black scorch marks on it. I checked the label but there's nothing that says it's not microwave safe. Nice basic cups otherwise.

JUST RIGHT CUPS
These cups are real heavy paper so sturdy for a hot cup of coffee or a cold cup of water and ice. Plus they are compostable. The 10 oz size is perfect for our work station coffee bar.

GREAT hard to find 3 oz cup for VERSATILE usage
Once again Staples has the product no one else seems to stock. I have lots of uses for these small few oz cups including as a scooper for pet food etc. These are great even if I never use them as a hot cup! But who knows! Great weight and feel. The paper is very thin and hot beverages have not fared very good especially if left in the cup for awhile Disappointing and I will not purchase again.

Hot cups
Chose these over the ones with lids that I usually get because we don't always need a lid and have enough of them leftover that cups-only is fine this time. Sturdy and never had one leak.
