G512 with GX Brown Tactile mechanical keys (920-009342)
Great keyboard.
I personally prefer Tactile keys to other mechanical keyboard types. This keyboard is Logitech G series part number 920-009342 which uses their GX Brown Tactile mechanical keys. I think it's a winner.

The black mask paint chips away
The black mask paint peels and chips away. The back light then shines through the expose areas on the keys. It looks awful and cheap! This is a do not buy.

just wanted a click style keyboard
I need a quick replacement for one of my click keyboards and this was on sale. It seems to be a bit cramped compared to other keyboards. The blinking colored keyboard is a turn off along with the lack of instructions on using it. It requires downloading software then figuring how to use it. When I get to order another REAL click keyboard this goes in the junk drawer.

Son loves it looves the flashing keys.
My son loves the light up keys , calls it very futuristic and out of this world.

1st Mechanical Keyboard, Never Going Back
Purchased a G512 with "brown tactile" keys. Easiest typing I've ever done, works out-of-the box on Linux (Pop!_OS 20.02). (The logitech software doesn't work, but the package "piper" can configure the lights.) I will never use a non-mechanical keyboard again, the keys are so easy and comfortable on my old-man hands, and I am probably going to get at least one more for m...

Gaming Keyboard review
Working great for this old typist. I didn't need the gaming as much as the touch of a typewriter with actual keys rather than small finger pads. Took some work to get it set up so it quit flashing colors at me, but worth it.

Love the soft key strokes on those keys! The items weighs something. But good things are built with weight. Junk is light and breaks . Love this keyboard.

It’s a good keyboard
I was trying to find this keyboard for the entire day and I finally found it at Staples it’s really good quality I recommend this keyboard for anyone it has Brown Switches and you can use it with the Logitech Hub Application in any computer to change the color or pattern on the keyboard.

Dead on arrival
Only one in the store so I could not tell if its typical. However, the num-lock key did not toggle the light. I put a cheap Insignia wired keyboard in the same setup and it works fine. The scroll lock signal doesn't seem to send the signal (its connected through a KVM which uses scroll lock to activate the function.

Phenomenal keyboard! The shifting-color lights make this a great keyboard, and the keys are easy to type on, too. I like the metal base that provides a very sturdy construction to it.

I like that this has every letter of the alphabet. The added option to switch between capital letters and lower case is very handy. Took me a while to find the space bar, but now that I know where it is I’m getting much more comfortable using it. Haven’t tried the enter key yet. Will update my review after I’ve tried every key. Nice.
