works perfectly
I’m lucky to live in an area where it doesn’t usually get too hot and I can just open the windows. This has provided relief on those few days when the heat is unbearable. It’s easy to pull out of the closet and set up. I put in the living room and it keeps my entire one bedroom condo comfortable.

Poor reliability
LP1419IVSM I purchased August 2022 Has error code CH38. It has not been moved since it was installed even though it has rollers. It worked well. It does not cool at all....250 sguare foot room.

Good AC, “smart” features lackluster
This AC is pretty decent for a portable unit. It’s quiet enough for a bedroom. The inverter feature is what makes it good. I liked the window unit better, but someone complained, and we’re stuck with this instead. Terrible
Any time the unit is powered on, the fan is running, regardless of whether the compressor is needed for cooling. So if the weather is not warm enough to require cooling, too bad, you're stuck listening to the stupid fan 24/7. I called LG and they confirmed that the fan on the unit is designed to run non stop. Praise and small issue
I had a cheaper brand before the LG and hated it. It was very noisy, and it kept coming on and shortly after turning off again, so it was very slow to cool. The LG is quiet and cools quickly. Summer's almost over, but my LG A/C is still going

Great portable A/C unit
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very pleased with this portable a/c unit. It is very quiet and not as large as our old unit. The hose is securely fastened to the back of the unit in a way that doesn't put undue pressure on it. The controls are easy to use.

So simple, it’s sinful!

I was so anxious to get this product - from the on line it looked so simple to install and maintain. Then it came and I couldn't wait to get it hooked up. To simplify the installation process, make sure that you follow each step of the provided manual carefully, and consider watching any available instructional videos for additional guidance. For the vent hose, ensure it's properly secured by using any included clamps or fittings to prevent it from coming loose.
Regarding the wireless connection issue, try resetting the Wi-Fi settings on the unit and ensure your phone’s Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are both enabled. Sometimes, restarting both the air conditioner and your phone can resolve connectivity issues.
