Plug & Play, Flawless
We purchased a new laptop not realizing it didn't have a network connector. We bought this adapter and it worked perfectly right out of the box with a brand new Windows 11 machine with no issues. There were more expensive adapters, but this fit the bill perfectly.

Does not work with a Mac
FYI - This item does not work with a Mac (the one tested was at MacBook pro m1 16 GB RAM. Really wished it did work.

Other than the web-site giving me one price for pick-up and the store charging a higher price the adapter works very well. The store did match the web-site without any problems. Just should not have happened in the first place.

Compact, reasonable price
The title says it all. Correctly detects a 1G network link. The throughput (using the "www.speedtest.net" web site) on what the notebook computer says is a USB 3.0 port, was 12% to 25% of my desktop computer with a hardwired ethernet connection.
