Tried this brand twice--didn't work
When I connected it at first it seemed to work. After 10 seconds it said it was not charging.

Whoops!
I asked a Staples employee about a car iPhone charger. Unfortunately I plugged it into my car’s receptacle and realized it was only 12” long. Was going on a road trip so didn’t have an opportunity to return it. I wished the associate would have asked me about size…

So far so good
Great size for a nightstand charging area. I can use my existing usb lamp charger for my iPhone 15. The cable is short but it works fine in a small space.

Not as efficient as I expected
I bought this cable so that I could charge my phone (USB-C) in the car (USB-A). But it doesn't work very well. After several hours of driving with the phone plugged in the phone reached only 4%! I consider that pretty useless. (The phone usually takes 1 hour to reach 100% when charging at home.)

I was not fully satisfied with the cable. I wanted a fast charging cable. I couldn't tell from the box whether it was or not. It is not. It takes longer to charge than I wanted. Other than that it does the job. I wanted a short cable to use in the car and this fits the bill.
