Great model for home tax business
I love this printer. I had the 4700 series prior and it lasted over 2 years until it started jamming up. This one doesn't print as fast but its goiing to be great. The start up cd didn't work very well but finally got it to hook up wireless and my computer to detect it. Its very quiet too.

My Epson W-F 7840
I really love my new All in one printer it is so high tech and I am so excited about all the features that it has I am recommending this printer to my associates.

EPson WF Pro7840
The 7840 is fast printing. I like that it has the ability to print on larger sheets of paper and to scan larger papers. The one thing that I did not like about both the 7820 and the 7840 is that the color printing is not true.

Printer purchase
I ordered a printer for my home office and literally received it the next day. I ordered on a Friday and shipping was to be Monday... Saturday it arrived. Fantastic!

The worst printer I have every purchased
Broke less than two months after purchased with little use. First firmware changed to eliminate ability to use remanufactured cartridges. Second firmware caused network to be duplicated. Unfortunately the issues occurred after the store return policy and I wasn't able to return it. So I am stuck with a large paper weight. Epson support was not responsive at first ...

Avoid this one.
I hate this printer. It randomly disconnects from my wi-fi and won't reconnect. Sometimes for weeks. No matter what I do. Then, one day, it magically reconnects (without me doing anything). The print quality and the speed is excellent, but it does me no good when the stupid thing keeps disconnecting.

Less than Acceptable Scanner
The software for the scanner is horrible. Confusing and unintuitive. Very little ability to adjust scanner settings to get desirable results. Output is inconsistent and not good. The inkjet printing capabilities and output are very good.

Will not connect wirelessly - returning.
Printer will not connect with my computer. I've tried every way possible to get them to connect, to no avail. This shouldn't be so complicated. I'll be returning the printer as I'm about ready to throw it out a window.

OK printer
Overall good printer...no connectivity problems for me or ink problems except the color print quality is not very good in my opinion. 5 yrs old and print nozzle problems so will try the 7840

Excellent printer
I have been working to digitize photo prints of all sizes as well as albums. Most standard printers have platens too small for album pages or larger photo prints (up to 11x14). This printer has an excellent scanning function and even though max resolution for scanning is 300 I've been very satisfied with the quality. Print and copy functions work well quick print turn...

I love the printer tech support not so much
I bought this printer so I could do email print but it wasn’t working so I called tech-support. It took four phone calls and practically the entire day and fortunately the last person I spoke with quickly took care of the problem. Other than that this printer is the best. It is a replacement for an old one that I loved

Always disconnecting from wi-fi
It's great when it will hook up to the wi-fi. Then it won't hook up for weeks then suddenly connects again. I tried to hook it up manually to my computer but I can't find the software to download so I can do it. This is not my favorite computer.

warning - buy ink with the printer
Although the Epson printer comes with initial "ink" cartridges they can only be used for a couple pages. Epson intends these cartridges for printer setup only and gives no warning on the box or in the online info that you have to get more ink immediately if you actually want to use the printer after you set it up. Tray one make a weird sound
This is a really fact printer. I've timed it at 2 seconds per page. There is a weird gear grinding sound when the top/tray one is used.
