Ink runs out after only a few prints
I bought this a few weeks ago and it worked great! After the temporary ink ran out, I bought new regular-sized 812 inks and only got 20 full-color prints--if that--before the ink said it was out and needed to be replaced. Went back to get more inks--same things. Don't know what is defective but I expected more prints. I am not doing intensive color photos, either. Will ...

WORST PRINTER EVER
Had three of them. All three have to be returned due to ink problems and always reading paper out even when loaded.

Haven’t set up yet
I tried to set it up the day. I took it out of the box and had difficulty once pulling all the tape and packaging off of it actually getting the rest of it put together, so not so easy to set up.

Great price point for 11x17 capability.
I use this printer for 11x17 capability for CAD drawings and schematics. Print quality is good, You will have to replace ink cartridges occasionally even with light or no use so be prepared with a set of spares.
Speed is decent and duplexing and front/back autofeed scanning works well.

Broken on Arrival and now no support...
Was really happy to receive my new all -in-one printer for is Wide-format printer, shipping was fast and received it 1 day faster than expected, but arrive broken and now no support (and really hard to reach them).
The box arrive with (what it first seem) a minor box damage, but after opening the printer from the box, I saw shard of plastic...bad sign when you unbox som...

DO NOT PURCHASE IF YOU WANT TO USE GENERIC CARTRIDGES
When you get a firmware update you are no longer able to use generic cartridges. This is not only unfair it is criminal. It may be printed somewhere in information that you will not read but your printer will be disabled and it will no longer function. Shame on you Epson!

Jammed printer
The printer makes excellent copies. The only problem is the bottom of the printer where you load the paper. It get jammed too easily.

Do not update firmware
If you update the firmware it forces you to buy only Epson ink cartridges. The cartridges cost more than the printer itself! Do not buy!

Buy something else
I bought this because I needed an 11" x 17" printer. Half of the time, the paper tray isn't recognized, Nor will it let you print something from the scanner at whatever percentage you want. It refuses to print if it can't find paper that will handle the entire scan area. It's not worth the money.

I HATE THIS PRINTER/SCANNER!! 4 days and I cannot get it to connect to my router. Epson tells me its my wifi provider and my router, my provider has checked all and they claim it's the printer. What a waste of my time. Guess it's being returned!
