Disappointed
During a meeting, a friend let me use one of her Sharpie S-Gel Retractable Gel pens and I liked it so much I went to Staples and purchased a pack of the pens. Unfortunately, in spite of stating on the front of the pack that these pens don't smear ink or bleed, two of the pens in my pack leaked clots of ink and smeared. Disappointed - not up to Sharpie standards
Writing was not smooth - just did not feel as good as competitive pens. Disappointed. It felt cheap.

I have my checks printed with specific photos, etc. and not every pen will write on them....these pens have never failed me. They write on everything!

I was a little disappointed in this pen. I purchased it because the pens supplied by my employer do not write. I have to scribble on paper to get them to start writing. I had to retrace my letters to get this pen to write but once it starts writing it is a nice pen.

S-Gel pen is great
I love pens and have tried different brands. I like that this pen doesn't smudge but I wish it was smoother. I like a gel pen that glides. Although, this S-Gel pen is one I buy often, it's not my only purchase when it comes to pens.
