Excellent design in construction and instructions. I would have preferred the letter width, but I can make it work.

Not a Filing Cabinet
This does not fit regular, legal or adjustable hanging folders. I spent several hours casually putting this together. It is a oddly strong build which I appreciate but it is unacceptable that it is labeled a filing cabinet that needs a seperate bracket to make it one.

2 hour assembly
For the price, this is a pretty sturdy unit. With a power drill, the assembly took me just shy of a 2 hours.
From reading previous reviews, they must have changed the instructions. I thought they were very easy to follow.
Does not come with file folders inside.

Well made, heavy design, solid materials. The internet 3D instructions were vague in several areas resulting in several operations being wrong. These had to be undone and done over correctly. Use the printed instructions as well as the internet ones. If I were to assemble another one I would have much more glue available as I ran out early in the assembly process.

Well built and great kit
One of the best kits I've ever assembled and I've assembled a lot of furniture. I didn't use the BILT app but instructions were good.
However it took my slow bones about 4 hours. You should have some extra white or wood glue as they didn't include quite enough.

Well Made but design flaws
Materials are very good and the final assembled product looks great. The only negatives are the file hanger’s that slide back every time you close the drawers and the bottom drawer caster that only works well on smooth surfaces. It takes a long time to assemble and non-handy people may find the assembly process frustrating.

broke within a week
Handle broke off, can't reattach and only used it a week. Barely touched it. Very disappointed. Also took 3 hours to assemble if only one person.

Wooden File cabinet - not really made for US, but works fine
Was not hard to put together but does take some time due to the number of parts for each of the draws, in particular. The main issue is the file drawers are made for A4 paper (8.26” x 11.69”) and not standard (8.5" x 11”) thus, the file drawer is slightly too wide and will not fit standard Pendaflex folders. You can use the provided inserts and run the files sideways...

File cabinet
The file cabinet was a little bit difficult to put together and the instructions were easy to follow. The hardest was assembling the drawers. It look good and I am able to file my paperwork.

Assembling the cabinet was more difficult than I expected, and the drawers did not close completely. I am not certain this cabinet is worth the purchase price.

Decent quality for $ but…..
Upon opening the box I took an inventory of parts and everything was included exactly as noted in the manual. I’m not gonna sugarcoat it. This took about 3 hours to but together. Took a few short breaks here and there but it is tedious.

Poor quality
I had to return it because in an effort to get the dowels into the holes, the panel came apart in my hand. This is inferior material in my opinion. Try something else. On the plus side, Staple’s was great about taking it back; excellent customer service.
