VERY heavy material so it should be very sturdy. Still working on assembling it. One person - it can be done. BUT...not if one of the parts doesn't have the required "holes" to insert either screws or wood dowels. Waiting to hear from Whalen when they will send me a new part. 2 hour assembly

For the price this is a pretty sturdy unit. With a power drill the assembly took me just shy of a 2 hours. From reading previous reviews they must have changed the instructions. I thought they were very easy to follow. Does not come with file folders inside.

Well made heavy design solid materials. The internet 3D instructions were vague in several areas resulting in several operations being wrong. These had to be undone and done over correctly. Use the printed instructions as well as the internet ones. If I were to assemble another one I would have much more glue available as I ran out early in the assembly process. W...

Well built and great kit

One of the best kits I've ever assembled and I've assembled a lot of furniture. I didn't use the BILT app but instructions were good. However it took my slow bones about 4 hours. Well Made but design flaws

Materials are very good and the final assembled product looks great. The only negatives are the file hanger’s that slide back every time you close the drawers and the bottom drawer caster that only works well on smooth surfaces. It takes a long time to assemble and non-handy people may find the assembly process frustrating.

Wooden File cabinet - not really made for US but works fine

Was not hard to put together but does take some time due to the number of parts for each of the draws in particular. The main issue is the file drawers are made for A4 paper (8.26” x 11.69”) and not standard (8.5" x 11”) thus the file drawer is slightly too wide and will not fit standard Pendaflex folders. You can use the provided inserts and run the files sideways...

The file cabinet was a little bit difficult to put together and the instructions were easy to follow. The hardest was assembling the drawers. It look good and I am able to file my paperwork.

Decent quality for $ but…..

Upon opening the box I took an inventory of parts and everything was included exactly as noted in the manual. I’m not gonna sugarcoat it. This took about 3 hours to but together.
