Don’t buy
First of all the pictures in the instruction manual are too small. Second the holes don’t even align with the items. I didn’t even bother trying to fully assemble it. What a waste of time.

Good but could be better
Markings for drawer and file rails are off just enough to prevent accurate positioning so front panels are not fully flush and well-centered. Had to make several adjustments on the fly but still not as perfect like the one on display in the store. Sliding drawer
You could be more descriptive and specific with pictures step by step and then the drawer sliders would work perfectly. They are not sliding easily and the weight can’t hold much on the bottom drawer

The Whalen Fallbrook 2 drawer file cabinet is a product that I have a hard time recommending over a simple metal file cabinet. My wife bought it because she liked the smaller top drawer. I would recommend this furniture.
I gave it a 7 because it took me several hours to assemble, not 1 hour as stated in the instructions. Some of the holes don't line up exactly so you have to force some pieces together, especially the drawer handles. Overall, the pieces feel solid, look good and work for us as we hoped they would.

Solid piece of furniture. A lot of parts all labeled properly and pretty much in the order of use. Works well for the need.

Great file cabinet but hard to assemble
We really like this file cabinet however it was a bit difficult to assemble. Otherwise it is a useful piece of furniture that looks better than a typical file cabinet.

Most stable
After a not very stable file cabinet fell over on me I went to Staples to buy something better. This one totally fit the bill. When I bought it I did not know we had to assemble it. It was a challenge but in the end very worth the time and effort. Heavy and stable.

Complete junk
Not wood. Pressboard that falls apart as you build it. About 20+ parts so you’ll need 9-12 hours. Holes not drilled or not drilled through so lots of retro-fitting. Finally gave up and returned it. DO NOT BUY!

Nice cabinet
Very happy with the filing cabinet looks nice and not too difficult to put together does take some time though. The drawers work great!

Love it!
This was the perfect size for my office and matched the sit-to-stand desk and printer stand I purchased. Unfortunately I have not used it yet because a few cam locks were missing. But customer service was great and I'm expecting to finish assemble it by the end of the weekend.

Not Impressed!
Terrible instructions/process of putting together! Very cheaply made and poor craftmanship! Will not ever buy a file cabinet from staples again It says the max weight on the drawers and I wouldn't trust it to hold my printer! Terrible product!

Decent cabinet shoddy handles
The file cabinet itself is decent and will do the job. The handles that came with it were bent and had to be replaced at a local hardware store.

Good little cabinet
It took a while to assemble it but it's pretty good. There was a problem with one of the handles. It was about 1/4" too wide to fit the predrilled holes. I tried to bend it but it cracked a little so I stopped. In the process of trying to make it fit the door got messed up a bit. Labor intensive
The assembly of this item was labor intensive and probably beyond the ability of some...original parts did not fir...ordered new...still did not totally fit.
